Final Report on ITF SLOVAKIATOUR 2006
Euroxenia hotel management & tourism consulting collaborates withntourism organizations that are suited and active in Eastern Europe.nCompanies of the Eastern Europe are not isolated from the rest of thenworld and ITF SLOVAKIATOUR fair is one of the top European fairsnconcerning tourism and Euroxenia was one of the 514 exhibitors thatnparticipated at this year’s fair. The fair is being held in the city ofnBratislava and attracts lots of visitors (during the fair of 2006 antotal of 50,386 visitors visited the exhibition area and 8,885 of themnwas registered as tourism professionals) and exhibitors from all overnthe world.
Thenincreasing number of participates and good organisational levels of ITFnled in 1999 the fair of ITF SLOVAKIATOUR in becoming a member of thenEuropean Tourism & Trade Fair Association (ETTFA). During the fairnof 2006, a total number of 514 exhibitors participated from 31ncountries of world (some of them were from Greece, Cyprus, Bulgaria,nCzech Republic, China, France, India, Germany, Spain, Thailand,nTunisia, Turkey, Great Britain and many more). ITF SLOVAKIATOUR isnorganased with the collaboration of several official institutions andnorganisations of Slovakia such as the Slovakian Ministry of Finance,nthe National Tourism Organisation of Slovakia and the unions ofnHoteliers, Restaurateurs, and Tourist Agents etc.
Euroxenia’snfair participation offered our staff lots of experience and gave us thenchance to exchange methods and ideas concerning hotel management andntourism consulting issues. At the same time Euroxenia’s team contactednmany educational institutions and tourism schools and discussed thendevelopment of a bilateral student exchange program aiming the gain ofnfiled work experiences and also the prospect of placement of studentsnin selectively hotels in Greece.
The members of the team thatnrepresented Euroxenia in ITF SLOVAKIATOUR 2006 were: Mr. MichalisnToanoglou, Managing Director of Euroxenia; Mr. Tsampikos Koudounis,nHuman Resources Manager of Euroxenia; our Slovakian associate Mrs.nNatasha Polakovichova and Mrs. Leticia Pascucci, as a representative ofnthe Italian tourism agency EDEN VIAGGI.
H Euroxenia recentlynhas contracted an agreement of collaboration with Eden Viagginconcerning the management of the MYRINA BEACH HOTEL, which is locatednin the resort of Kolympia, Rhodes Island, Greece. Starting this year’snsummer sezon Myrina Beach Hotel will operate as a specialised ItaliannClub.
